Hi PostageApp team,

Do you plan on supporting sending an email at a specific time in the future?

In my case a need to send an email three days after transmitting them to you.

What I was looking for was an additional variable I could pass in PHP to your API. Something like:

'sendAt' => '2013-05-29 11:39:02'

Or maybe this already possible?

Best Regrads,
Jochen.

    Hi Jochen,

    We've considered adding this option in the future, but we do not currently provide this option. On the whole the philosophy we run by is to allow maximum control in the hands of developers - we've found that for delayed tasks, our clients tend to like retaining the control locally (through cron jobs or other system queues), as that allows direct manipulation if there is a need to alter anything.

    Thanks for your question, and I'll add the note to our roadmap. In the interim, I recommend you look into retaining a local delayed queue.

    Regards,

    Tom Walsham
