PostageApp doesn't send out duplicate emails

We just implemented PostageApp as our mailer, and we found it could only send out the same email once(Same subject, same recipient email address but different email body).
Is this something to do with the settings, or the implementation?

    There's a duplicate protection mechanism in the application to prevent accidental repeats as well as to allow safe retrying if a concrete result code wasn't obtained from an API call.

    If you need to send out two otherwise identical emails it's best to include a UID value that's different so the service knows you're doing it on purpose. The send_message call has an argument for this.

    The duplication check is done on the complete contents of the API call, so the body should be included as a factor here. If you're having problems with emails being flagged as duplicates it's possible you're including a UID but it's inadvertently the same as some other one. The most common mistake is using the UNIX epoch time as a key which only changes once per second. Using a UUID value would work better in that case.
