Schedulers for future emails in Python API

I was testing the python API and templates in parallel. I couldn't find any feature to add a scheduler for future emails either in the template or from the API.
Is there an option to add schedulers for future emails and edit them before we send the email. Any help relevant to python API is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Normally this is done on the application side, where you have some kind of local job queue or crontab that kicks off at a particular time. That gives you a lot more control over the sending activity.

If you're sending a newsletter at a particular day of week or time and you have access to cron, that's usually the most reliable way to fire it off. There's also ways of doing this with a persistent engine of some kind that runs continuously and schedules things internally using some other algorithm.

If you need any help getting this set up just let me know.
