Mass emailing

Is there the maximum emails we can send per one API call. If, let's say, we are sending 125,000 emails on a call, with no attachments, will it work?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Vasiliy

The limit on api calls is based on the size of call (in MB) rather than the number if recipients.

From a practical standpoint we usually recommend no more than about 5000 recipients per api call, but feel free to experiment.

Please let me know if you have any further questions

    Thank you!
What about time neded for sending?
I want to send emails at particular time. If, let's say, I colled API 20 times with 5000 recipients per api call, to send 100,000 emails, when are they all will be sended?
On my server side it's about 20 seconds to work. How long will it take on postageapp side?

The size of the API call is limited based on the plan you have, but is generally large enough to allow for several thousand emails to be sent at once. It depends on how much customization you're doing with each recipient.

Your example of sending 20 API calls to deliver 5,000 messages each would work as you expect. The API calls will be acknowledged as quickly as possible and delivered as efficiently as can be managed. To make 20 API calls should only take around 10 to 20 seconds depending on your connection and how much content you're sending.
